Made to order, this clock case features the same specifications as the 1880 clocks did. My clock case sides are hand made, straight grain walnut veneer over basswood. The ornamental wood is high grade walnut burl veneer. The door is walnut veneer over pine. The mouldings, and carvings are solid walnut. The case is finished in the original stain formulated from the Ithaca Calendar Clock Company purchase and supply ledger of 1866. In short what you see is exactly what the antique clock looked like when it was purchased.

Example 2 - # 3 ½ Parlor Model This is a favorite of those who collect Ithaca's.

The top is hand carved basswood painted black. One of my tops won 1st place in the Wood Carving category at the Oklahoma City National. The delicate tips on either side of the center, or the entire upper area of this type of top are almost always broken off on the original antique. The case is solid walnut with a steam bent bonnet top. This clock, and every one I make, features an original E N Welch 8 Day Time and Strike Movement. The Calendar Movement components are Nickel Plated, and the month and day rollers feature silver on black lettering. The Beveled Glass Engraved Pendulum put the finishing touch on this high quality piece. Made to order.
